1. Question: We have an exact task (application), and we are looking for equipment and eventually engineering for solving it out. Could we rely on your expertise (even on place research), or we should look for ourselves in the catalogues received from you? Are we supposed to pay for this services of yours?
Answer: For us it is always a matter of professional honor and private choice to offer you a detailed research of the exact conditions, application and task which have been assigned to our customers and partners. After our expert work for investigating of your inquiry, we are ready to quote the best suitable for you solution (directly from us or from our partners and/or colleagues). We never ask for a payment for these services of ours.
2. Question: What are you offering besides selling of measuring equipment?
Answer: The selling of measuring equipment is just a fraction of our total activity. Besides we can offer you total engineering, installation, training and maintenance. We are providing for you a full warranty and post-warranty service maintenance.
3. Question: The additional services that you are offering (besides equipment selling) - are they part only of your equipment sales process or you can quote them separately as well? If they are part of a total equipment selling, are we supposed to pay for them, and how much?
Answer: All services that we offer can be provided separately and in no relation with selling of equipment. In case these services are related, and are part of equipment sales process, then some of them are not supposed to be paid or are calculated in reduced prices (such as training for equipment manipulation).
4. Question: How long is the warranty period of the equipment you are selling? How much time after warranty expiration are you providing a post-warranty service maintenance and delivery of spare parts?
Answer: The standard warranty period is 12 months after the date of delivery (for some type of products we offer an extended warranty). During the warranty we will repair for no payment all defects, besides those caused by mechanical damages or improper manipulation. The post-warranty service maintenance and supply of spare parts that we guarantee is for a period of at least 10 years after warranty expiration.
5. Question: We have an old Brüel & Kjær equipment which is still working but is morally aged, and we plan to change it for a new one. Are you offering a buy-back of old Brüel & Kjær equipment, and under which conditions?
Answer: It is a well known fact that the Brüel & Kjær equipment is with an extraordinary reliability and long lasting of its working functions (it is a normal situation to see perfectly working Brüel & Kjær products with age of 30, 40 and even 50 years). The company Brüel & Kjær is offering buy-back under the following conditions: the old unit under question to be examined from a Brüel & Kjær service center for lapse of defects, and this buy back to be in relation of a purchase of new similar Brüel & Kjær unit. Brüel & Kjær reserves the right for some types and models to cancel the buy-back opportunity (this is concerning especially the types and models that are using an out to dated and not used any more measuring technics and technology).
6. Question: When the measurements, analysis and calculations that we perform with your equipment are according to some specific standards, directives and regulations, can we expect from you to provide us with them, and as well to train us for correct proceeding?
Answer: We can advise you from where you can order these specific standards, directives and regulations (they are supposed to be ordered from the authorities that are responsible for their harmonization and implementation in the Bulgarian legislation and practice). We can offer you training in accordance to these respective standards, directives and regulations.
7. Question: We have to obtain a calibration certificate from accredited laboratory for the equipment that we are ordering from you. Can you provide us with such and how?
Answer: All products which we are offering can be supplied with a certificate from accredited initial factory calibration (in such a way you are gaining time for the other way slow procedure in Bulgaria). Additionally, if you would like to have the calibration made in Bulgaria, we can give you contact data of the experts that are performing these services in Bulgaria.
8. Question: We would like to order from you a sound and vibration measuring equipment. You offer us as well the respective calibrators. Why should we order these calibrators? What is the difference between the every-day calibration with these calibrators, and the accredited calibration (which is supposed to be made every 1 to 3 years – in accordance to the Bulgarian legislation).
Answer: Following the actual international and national standards for measuring of sound and vibration, it is necessary to perform a working calibration (checking) - before and after each group of measurements. Besides assuring the legal proceeding of your measurements, you perform a real verification of the correctness of your measurements (always the unit you are using could have had some recently appeared defects in some functions that leads to inaccurate values’ displaying).
The working calibration (checking) and the accredited calibration are totally different terms. The first one provides you a verification for the correctness of your measurements, but on the other hand the accredited calibration gives you only the uncertainty of the measurement behavior of your unit in its whole measurement range.
